NVQ Level 1

This level is for people who require a basic knowledge about Home Care & Basic Nursing Skills. This is for students who have never had any experience looking after unwell clients , clients requiring support, and those who may have doubts if this career is for them. This Level is mainly done under a Distant Learning Scheme.

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

This award is designed for people who deliver physical, emotional care to clients, whether they work in health or social care, in the public, private or voluntary sectors. It is designed to be relevant for staffs/students in all care settings. Those not already in Health Care, should have a reasonable academic background or have passed our distant learning scheme at Level 1 and on application and interview will be assessed for competencies onto this award.

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care ( adults )

This course has varied units to provide a more holistic element of Care and aimed for people who require preparation into managerial level of Care. NVQ level 3 has links to the NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, but reflects a higher level of responsibility and specialisation. As such, it is a potential progression route from level 2, with more professional skills, development into Team Leaders role or Senior Support Workers Level.

NVQ Level 3 in CYP ( children & young people )

This course is aimed at carers who are working in Children’s Homes or interested to work with children. This is a very demanding and challenging award. Students need to have either some experience in the field of childcare or at least reached NVQ2 in Health & Social Care and a sound academic background to obtain enrolment on this course.

CCMH Level 3

The Level 3 Certificate in Community Mental Health Care is aimed at all mental health practitioners working with people from the ages of 18. It is particularly aimed at those workers who do not hold a professional qualification relating to mental health and who are involved in the broad spectrum of mental health services in the UK. It also provides specialisation for people who have already completed at least NVQ3 and above.

NVQ Level 4 Management

This award is appropriate for senior care workers seeking to develop themselves in a care setting, deputy managers and managers who do not possess a higher level care qualification. This is management level. It doesn’t mean that candidates have to work as managers to take up this course. Completing this level gives care professionals better opportunity of getting managers position in care field.

RMA ( Adults ), level 4

This award is aimed at managers and deputy managers attaining a level equivalent to University level through work based related training and assessments. It is a CSCI requirement for Registered Managers to have this qualification. With this Award candidates should be able to apply for jobs as Managers of Care Homes in related fields.
